The book is quarter bound and covered with a woven fabric of cherry-red and black, and the spine is covered with imported black capeskin stamped in gold. The top edge is in cherry-red and the frontispiece and bottom edge are uncut (deckled). Red colored slipcase has gilt lettering on spine. Condition of book: Faint erased bookseller's pencil marks on first free endpaper, else book is Fine. Never read. Free of stickers, bookplates, writing in text, and page tears. Not a former library book. Pages are crisp and clean, illustrations clear and vivid. Stored in temperature-controlled bookcase - no musty damp smell or the smell of a smoker.
